Lénaïg Cariou is a French poet, researcher and translator, based in Berlin. In 2021, she co-led the Poet.e.s.s.e.s Festival in Paris. She is one of the co-editors of the French poetry journal Point de chute, which publishes poetic texts of emerging writers. After spending a few years in the US, she created the Connexion Limitée/ Limited Connection transatlantic translation collective; their translation of Monica de la Torre, The Happy End / Bienvenue à tous (Joca Seria) came out in France in June 2022 and their translation of Eleni Sikelianos, Ce que j'ai connu (L'usage) is forthcoming in January 2023. She recently joined the network of French-speaking authors in Berlin. Her poems and translations are regularly published in poetry journals, in Europe, and North America. She writes in English and/or French.
