Mark Goodwin speaks and writes in various ways. He is a balancer, walker, climber, and stroller. Mark has been making poetry for over three decades, and has published six full-length books & seven chapbooks with various poetry houses. His poetry was included in The Ground Aslant – An Anthology of Radical Landscape Poetry, edited by Harriet Tarlo (Shearsman Books 2011) & The Footing edited by Brian Lewis (Longbarrow Press 2013). Both his books with Longbarrow – Steps (2014) & Rock as Gloss (2018) – were category finalists in the Banff Mountain Book Competition. Due out in 2020: a full-length called – At – with Shearsman, a chapbook called – Of Gone Fox – with The Hedgehog Poetry Press, and a chapbook called – Erodes on Air – with American publisher Middle Creek. Mark lives on a narrowboat in Leicestershire.
